Responsible Gaming Policy
Purpose and Principles
This Responsible Gaming Policy establishes Causabet's framework to promote safe, controlled play and to empower players to manage their gambling activity. It applies to all registered users accessing Causabet's gaming services where licensed operations are delivered.
Age Verification and Access Control
Access to gambling services on Causabet is strictly limited to individuals aged 18 years or older. Causabet conducts age verification during account creation and may perform additional verification as required by applicable law. If a user is discovered to be under 18, the account will be suspended or closed, and all mandated regulatory steps will be followed. Users are responsible for securing their devices against minor access.
Personal Limits and Control Tools
- Deposit limits: Users may set daily, weekly, and monthly deposit caps. Increases to limits require a minimum seven-day waiting period before the higher limit takes effect; decreases or new lower limits take effect immediately. Example: a daily cap of €40, a weekly cap of €120, and a monthly cap of €300 may be set, with changes communicated to the user and becoming effective in accordance with the applicable waiting period.
- Loss limits: Users may configure loss limits for defined periods to cap total losses. Loss limits operate independently from deposit limits. If limits conflict, the stricter applicable limit governs.
- Time limits and session tracking: Users may set a maximum session duration (for example, 20, 40, or 60 minutes). When the limit is reached, the session ends or a reminder is displayed. All session times and activity are recorded in the user’s activity log and accessible on request.
- Wager limits: Users may set a maximum wager per game or per session. Wager limits apply to new sessions and can be adjusted with appropriate notice.
- Blocking software and device controls: Users may enable blocking software to restrict access to gambling services across devices. Causabet does not assume liability for tools installed by users that restrict access to services.
Monitoring, Warning Signs and Self-Assessment
- Early warning signs: Spending more time or money than planned; secrecy about gambling; mood changes such as irritability or distress when unable to gamble; attempts to chase losses; neglect of personal or professional responsibilities.
- Self-assessment: Users should periodically reflect on responses to internal prompts, such as whether they stop at their limits, whether gambling affects relationships, whether gambling is used to cope with stress, or whether there is secrecy about gambling activities. If the assessment indicates risk, pause activity and seek appropriate support.
Self-Exclusion, Cooling-Off and Reinstatement
Self-exclusion allows a user to permanently or temporarily suspend access to Causabet. Exclusion options include seven days, one month, six months, one year, or indefinite exclusion. Requests are processed by Customer Support and take effect immediately for temporary exclusions; longer exclusions require confirmation and enforcement for the specified term. During the exclusion period, access to the account is blocked on all devices, and marketing communications are paused. After the exclusion period ends, reinstatement may be requested by contacting Customer Support and accepting the Terms for reactivation. Causabet will not permit the creation of new accounts to bypass valid self-exclusions, and may act on any false information or attempts to circumvent restrictions.

Users may request access to their activity records in accordance with applicable law by contacting [email protected]. Causabet reserves the right to audit accounts and enforce policy terms, including suspension or termination of accounts that are found to violate self-exclusion or limit settings.
Policy Updates and Effective Date
Causabet reserves the right to amend this policy at any time. Updates will be published on the platform and are effective immediately unless otherwise stated. This policy is effective as of 12 November 2025.
